Nurse Update

The nurse just called out to my support crew and let them know that I am doing just as they have told me. Dr. Gandhi is diligently working on my little heart.

Hey Madox,

Just a little somethin' to keep your Mom and Dad occupied.

My Dad, Ken, and my friend, Shane, are there with your family right now. I'm sorry I can't be there, but now that our meeting is over, I've been on my knees in my office praying for your surgery!

Hang in there little guy...God's got big plans in store for you.

Madox, good to hear every thing is going well in surgery. We will continue to pray for a blessing on you and the doctors caring for you. Kurt, if you need something to keep your mind busy, just think of the great times we had doing that basement. Remember the time you re-hung the ceramic light sockets with a drill. You only broke two out of three. Remind Jennifer of that, she got a kick out of it. Or how about the 3” screws that would make it in about 2” before the drill sounded like a machine gun striping the head and then they would neither go in or come out. But when Dan was there we never had to worry about a drill battery getting low. And did I ever tell you that I spent 20minutes (on the clock) looking for that bag of breakers just for you to tell me they were right under the breaker box where I was working. Oh yeah, I about forgot, how is that doorbell working that I wired?? WhOOpS! Wow, it about slipped my mind the time you were securing the shower surround to the wall and that darn hammer got away from you. Don’t worry nobody can see the hammer shaped nick in the fiberglass. Jennifer got a real kick out of that one, but I could tell deep down she was proud of her hubby no matter how she showed it after working all day and being pregnant. I always loved it when you had to ask her to make decisions after she worked all day and made dinner. But Kaden always helped you out, like the time he continually ran his big wheel into Jennifer’s heals. Not sure any decisions got made that night. But all this did teach us a lesson, we should never install drywall and use a roto-zip to cut outlet box holes. I do not think we cut one of those without somehow cutting the plastic boxes. One would think with the twenty outlets you put in each room we would have gotten good at that. But we cut the last boxes just as bad as we cut the first ones. Heck we hung drywall so well together we even forgot to cut one box out until after the walls were painted. Even with all this character we added to the basement last I saw it looked like we knew what we were doing. Someday, you and Jennifer will sit down there and watch all three kids play, but you might have to put a note on the front door to tell visitors the doorbell does not work and they need to go around back. Stay strong and we will continue to pray for all of you.

Mary, Dan, and the rest of Madox's family,
Just a note to let you know that we are praying for Madox and for all of you. I know what it is like sitting and waiting for a long surgery. However with your family close and people praying it will be a special time to remember once this is all behind you. Just remember you are not alone.

Madox,

Hello there. This is your cousin Kyle from Missouri. My mom showed me your pics last night. you are so cute. She has been making me say lots of prayers for you. I hope they are working. I told my mom I wanted to come see you but she told me I had to wait until you were healthy and ready for visitors. Maybe sometime this summer. I cant wait for Kaden and I to get our hands on you. I know we have lots to teach you!! I heard my mom talking to cousin Linsay last night and she said your mom looks good!! Anyways, hang in there and hope to see ya soon. I will check back later - mom thinks I need a nap today. I dont think there is any getting out of that.

Love
Kyle
